Chloe — Side Story

Spoilers ahead

This guide covers Chloe's released Part 1, including game nights, relationship developments, and its closing cliffhanger. Intimate events are summarized without graphic detail.

Chloe's story moves between Woodchester University, the Library, Kaleb's house, and Ethan's phone. An awkward introduction becomes a shared tabletop campaign, then a friendship away from the group.

The public v15.2 release notes identify events 1–13 as Part 1 of 2. This guide separates all 14 numbered story scenes, including 7-1, which the old checklist folded into the library visit. Part 2 remained upcoming in the August 22 development update. Coverage checked September 6, 2026.

🏁 Before you start

  • Use the phone's Guide to see the current Chloe step. Her progression is separate from the household routes.
  • School and library meetings take place before night. Game nights advance the scene's time themselves.
  • Several meetings require a later in-game day than the previous Chloe event. If the correct location does nothing, finish the day, sleep, and return.
  • Phone scenes start by entering the relevant room. Reading an old message again does not substitute for entering the room that launches the next event.

🎮 Chapters 1–4 — Joining the group

Chapter 1-0 — The university introduction

Where: University hallway. When: Morning, afternoon, or evening.

Enter the hallway to join Kaleb and Joe's conversation. Kaleb introduces Chloe as his cousin, and Ethan learns why she has been keeping to herself. The scene continues through Ethan's classes and a brief, awkward encounter with Chloe afterward; both halves belong to 1-0.

Next: Return to My House for Kaleb's call. There is no separate errand to obtain Chloe's name or locate her classroom.

Chapter 2-0 — Kaleb's invitation

Where: Ethan's bedroom, the upstairs hallway, or the living room at My House.

Let Kaleb's call play. He and Joe have started holding tabletop game nights and want Ethan to join them. The call establishes the visit and opens the route to their house.

Next: Visit Kaleb's house on a later day. The Guide suggests being at home in the evening; the important trigger is entering one of the home rooms above while 2-0 is active.

Chapter 3-0 — The first game night

Where: The entrance to Kaleb's house. When: A later day than the invitation.

Enter the house to meet Kaleb and Joe in the basement. The group explains Castles, Brigadiers, and Treants, works through the basics, and realizes it needs another player. Ethan helps make the case for inviting Chloe despite Joe's reservations.

The practice session and the discussion about Chloe are parts of the same chapter. There is no tabletop minigame score to grind before the story advances.

Next: Speak to Chloe at university on a later day.

Chapter 4-0 — The locker invitation

Where: University hallway. When: Morning through evening, on a later day than 3-0.

Approach Chloe at her locker. Ethan gives her time to answer, explains the invitation, and encourages her to try one game with the group. She agrees to come downstairs for the next session.

Next: Return to Kaleb's house on a later day. You do not need to find a fourth party member elsewhere; Chloe's agreement completes that task.

🎲 Chapters 5–7 — Finding her confidence

Chapter 5-0 — Chloe's first campaign session

Where: Kaleb's house entrance, leading into the basement. When: A later day than the invitation at school.

Join the first full session with Chloe, Kaleb, and Joe. Chloe begins cautiously, then becomes absorbed in her character and the campaign. Her preparation and imaginative play change the group's expectations of her.

Her excited celebration is followed by embarrassment and a hurried departure. This is the chapter's normal ending, not a failed invitation or a reason to restart the route.

Next: Look for her at university on a later day to clear the air.

Chapter 6-0 — The locked locker

Where: University hallway. When: Morning through evening, on a later day than 5-0.

Ethan tries to catch up with Chloe after game night. She avoids the conversation, retreats into a locker, and then needs help getting back out. Finish the conversation and the rescue; the scene handles the locker combination itself.

Once Ethan reassures her, Chloe suggests talking at the library where she studies.

Next: Visit the Library on a later day. Her invitation is the prerequisite for the library event.

Chapter 7-0 — The library mishap

Where: Library. When: Morning through evening, on a later day than 6-0.

Enter the library to find Chloe reorganizing books from a rolling ladder. Ethan's attempt to get her attention ends in an awkward accident. Joe's arrival adds another layer of tension to the group's relationships.

Chloe leaves to get checked over, and Ethan is left with more questions than answers. That departure completes the library portion; her reassurance comes in a separate subchapter.

Next: Return to Ethan's bedroom for 7-1. This follow-up can happen on the same day.

Chapter 7-1 — The follow-up text

Where: Ethan's bedroom at My House. When: After the library event; no additional day is required.

Let Chloe's message conversation play. She confirms that she is fine, apologizes for the accident, and opens up about how comfortable she feels with Ethan. Their conversation becomes warmer and more playful than their earlier meetings in person.

This is a full progression step, not a repeat of 7-0. Returning to the library will not replace it.

Next: On a later day, return to Ethan's bedroom or the living room to receive the next game-night message.

💬 Chapters 8–10 — Beyond game night

Chapter 8-0 — The Blackrock session

Start at: Ethan's bedroom or the living room at My House. When: A later day than 7-1.

Kaleb's text starts the chapter at home. The scene then carries Ethan to game night, where Chloe arrives with extensive campaign notes. This is why going directly to Kaleb's door can appear to do nothing at this particular step: the invitation at home is the trigger.

Play through the next campaign session. Chloe's deductions and her growing rapport with Ethan move the group forward, while Joe's interest in her becomes harder to miss. Kaleb comments on the situation after the game.

Next: Return to Ethan's bedroom for the Night conversation in 9-0.

Chapter 9-0 — Planning a day together

Where: Ethan's bedroom. When: After 8-0; the scene sets the Night conversation.

Chloe texts about the campaign and the way Ethan supported her ideas. The conversation turns into an invitation to spend time together outside the game. Finish the exchange to arrange the park meeting.

Next: Go to the Park on a later day, before night. The plan is an afternoon meeting.

Chapter 10-0 — The riverside walk

Where: Park. When: A later day than 9-0, before night; afternoon suits the invitation.

Meet Chloe for a walk along the riverside. Away from the table, the pair can talk more openly about themselves and the connection they have been building. Their mutual interest becomes clearer, and the visit ends when Kaleb checks in on her.

Next: Visit Kaleb's house on a later day for the next campaign chapter. The park meeting does not replace the remaining group sessions.

✨ Chapters 11–13 — Part 1's closing stretch

Chapter 11-0 — Murkshade Swamp

Where: Kaleb's house entrance, leading into game night. When: A later day than 10-0.

Join the group's Murkshade Swamp adventure. Ethan's and Chloe's characters work together through the encounter, and the session gives their growing closeness another public outing. Kaleb teases them afterward and warns Ethan that someone else is interested in Chloe too.

The older Guide's vague “what is Chloe up to?” message refers to this game night. It is not another random university encounter or a phone-only chapter.

Next: Return to Ethan's bedroom in the evening or at night.

Chapter 12-0 — A private invitation

Where: Ethan's bedroom. When: Evening or later, after 11-0.

Read Chloe's new conversation about spending time together without the rest of the group. She explains that Kaleb will be out on lifeguard duty and invites Ethan over. Finish the exchange before trying the house again.

Next: Go to Kaleb and Chloe's house on a later day. This is a separate visit from the game night that came before it.

Chapter 13-0 — Chloe's room

Where: Kaleb's house entrance, then Chloe's bedroom. When: A later day than the invitation.

Chloe welcomes Ethan in while the house is quiet and shows him her room. The visit develops their relationship through a private intimate scene, then closes with her asking him to text once he gets home.

The final thoughts about Joe and the nearby neighbors are the Part 1 cliffhanger. Reaching this point completes the released 1–13 sequence covered here.
