Lily's Route¶
Spoilers ahead
This walkthrough explains story progression and outcomes. Intimate events are summarized without graphic detail.
Lily's story runs from reconnecting through blanket forts and wrestling to the treehouse friend group, Rupert's rescue, and a relationship that brings Cass and Molly into the main story. Their first introductions happen in Chapter 6; Chapter 18 is the first extended visit to their home.
The steps below keep the game's chapter and subchapter numbers. A number such as 18-3 means Chapter 18, stage 3. Several chapters span multiple visits, messages, or automatic scenes, so finishing one conversation does not always finish the chapter.
Version and numbering notes
Chapter 35 was added in the v16 release, after the free public v15.2 build. The story deliberately jumps from 15 to 18 and from 25 to 27. Stage 22-1 was replaced by 22-2, and the current route bypasses the older Chapter 5 event. These gaps do not mean you missed a quest.
Before you start¶
Keep the phone's Guide handy. This route frequently requires a new day, even when the next destination is the same room. When a step says "on a later day," sleep before trying it again. Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night, and Late Night are separate clock periods.
Finish the opening household introductions first. If Lily's first hallway encounter does not appear, advance the initial Tara and Janice events, then return the next morning. The room-entry events below do not require repeatedly choosing ordinary conversation topics.
Chapter 1 — A familiar ambush¶
1-0 — Meet Lily in the hallway¶
Go to the upstairs hallway in the morning, after the opening introductions and on a later day than Lily's previous event. Lily's surprise greeting starts the route and leaves Ethan thinking about something they enjoyed together when they were younger.
1-1 — Find the old blankets¶
Open the storage container in the Living Room closet. The old bedsheets remind Ethan of their blanket forts. This is an object interaction: simply walking into the living room is not enough to finish this stage. Once the memory plays, the Guide moves to the kitchen.
Chapter 2 — Fort construction¶
2-0 — Bring up the idea in the kitchen¶
Visit the Kitchen from Morning through Evening. Lily and Janice are talking there, and the conversation turns toward the old blankets. Lily decides the fort should happen immediately and takes Ethan toward the living room.
2-1 — Build the living-room fort¶
Enter the Living Room to continue. Work through the fort-building conversation and their time inside it. The scene develops the childhood connection before Lily leaves to talk with Cass and Molly.
Chapter 3 — The wrestling challenge¶
3-0 — Be in your room that afternoon¶
On a later day, enter Your Room in the Afternoon. Lily arrives in her wrestling costume and challenges Ethan. Play through the match and conversation; her departure leads to a return visit on the following part of the route.
Chapter 4 — A shopping trip¶
4-0 — Return Lily's visit¶
Visit Lily's Room in the Morning or Afternoon on a later day. She is finishing a conversation with her friends and asks Ethan to spend time with them. The immediate plan becomes a trip to the mall. You can agree to go or finish other errands first; the destination remains the mall.
4-1 — Meet her at the mall¶
Go to the Mall before Night. Follow Lily into Apple Bottoms, help with the swimsuit-shopping conversation, and finish the outing. She mentions inviting her friends over. The current route continues to Chapter 6 after this trip.
Chapter 5 — Older shower encounter¶
5-0 — Legacy stage¶
Older dialogue and Guide entries describe a morning upstairs-hallway encounter after Lily's shower. The current story routing skips this stage after the mall and advances directly to 6-0. If your Guide already shows Chapter 6, continue there; do not wait for an extra shower event to appear.
Chapter 6 — Cass and Molly arrive¶
6-0 — Meet the visitors¶
On a later morning, enter the upstairs hallway. Janice announces Lily's visitors, and Ethan meets Cass and Molly before they go into Lily's room. This is their first on-screen introduction in this shared route, well before the Rupert rescue.
6-1 — The pajama-party conversation¶
Return to the upstairs hallway at Night or Late Night. The girls' conversation reveals how the friends see Ethan and how Lily reacts to their interest. Finish this scene, then wait for Lily's morning message.
Chapter 7 — Rearranging Lily's room¶
7-0 — Read the request for help¶
Be in Your Room in the Morning on a later day. Lily texts asking for help moving furniture. Finish the message exchange so the Guide changes to the room visit.
7-1 — Help with the furniture¶
Visit Lily's Room in the Morning or Afternoon. She has tried rearranging it after hearing Molly's advice about feng shui. Help her work through the furniture-moving scene. You do not need to buy an item for the rearrangement.
Chapter 8 — A sore shoulder¶
8-0 — Lily visits while you work¶
Return to Your Room in the Morning or Afternoon on a later day. Lily complains about her aching shoulder while Ethan is trying to do homework. The visit becomes a closer, more personal moment, and ends with Ethan left to reflect on it.
Chapter 9 — The rematch¶
9-0 — Another wrestling interruption¶
On another later day, enter Your Room in the Morning or Afternoon. Lily returns for a wrestling rematch. Tara's interruption is part of the same scene; you do not need to leave and locate her separately to finish the chapter.
Chapter 10 — Fort Awesome¶
10-0 — Accept the treehouse invitation¶
Visit the Living Room in the Morning or Afternoon on a later day. Lily announces that she, Cass, and Molly have repaired the old treehouse and asks Ethan to join them. This provides the story introduction to the restored hideout.
10-1 — Join the group¶
Go to the Treehouse from Morning through Evening. Meet all three friends, inspect what they have done with the place, and play through the group game and the first major romantic moment between Ethan and Lily. The conversations afterward are part of this stage.
Chapter 11 — The missing DVD¶
11-0 — Make plans in the living room¶
On a later day, visit the Living Room in the Morning or Afternoon. Lily wants to revisit an old show. Finish the conversation to receive the DVD-search objective.
11-1 — Search upstairs¶
Go to the upstairs hallway before Night. The short discovery scene identifies the DVD in upstairs storage. This is a separate subchapter even though it is much shorter than the surrounding conversations.
11-2 — Return for the show¶
Go back to the Living Room before Night. Ethan starts the DVD and Lily joins him. Let the entire viewing scene and their conversation play out; finding the disc alone does not complete Chapter 11.
Chapter 12 — A change of perspective¶
12-0 — Start from your room¶
On a later day, enter Your Room in the Morning or Afternoon. The story moves into a shower-related cutaway from Lily's perspective. Although the scene changes location, Your Room is the trigger; you do not need to search the bathroom for a new quest object.
Chapter 13 — Advice from friends and family¶
13-0 — Lily talks to her friends¶
Be in Your Room in the Morning or Afternoon on a later day. The story cuts away to Cass, Molly, and Lily discussing what has been happening. This conversation runs automatically from Ethan's room; it is not a separate visit you must arrange at the neighbors' house.
13-1 — Head to the kitchen¶
Visit the Kitchen in the Morning or Afternoon. Ethan overhears Lily and Tara talking in the living room. Tara's advice gives context to Lily's next plan and prompts Ethan to seek her out.
Chapter 14 — The new pool float¶
14-0 — Look for Lily in the morning¶
On a later morning, enter the upstairs hallway. Ethan tries to speak with Lily about Tara's advice, but Lily redirects him to the pool. Her recently repaired piggy bank and new purchase explain what she has been planning.
14-1 — Meet her at the pool¶
Go to the Pool before Night. Lily introduces the new float, and their time together develops the relationship further. Cass's arrival and the end of the swim are included in the same event.
Chapter 15 — A stormy sleepover¶
15-0 — Go to bed¶
Use your bed in Your Room when this is the active objective. Lily arrives because the storm is keeping her awake. The scene sets its own late-night timing and covers the conversation and overnight stay.
15-1 — The morning follow-up¶
Continue the next-morning scene in Your Room while Lily is still there. This is the sleepover's follow-up, rather than another invitation you need to earn. Finish it to move into Rupert's storyline.
Chapters 16 and 17
The numbered route continues directly to Chapter 18. These are unused numbers in the active sequence, not omitted steps in this guide.
Chapter 18 — Operation Rat Rescue¶
18-0 — Learn who Rupert is¶
On a later day, enter the upstairs hallway in the Morning or Afternoon. Lily is calling for Rupert. Her explanation reveals the secret pet rat and the problem with asking Janice for help. Agree to search around the house.
18-1 — Follow the sound downstairs¶
Enter the Basement. Ethan hears movement there, narrowing the search. This short clue advances the objective from searching the house to inspecting Rupert's hiding place.
18-2 — Inspect Rupert's hole¶
Click Rupert's hole in the Basement. Merely entering the room again will not finish the search. Lily joins Ethan, but Rupert refuses to emerge. They decide to ask Molly about the cheese he likes.
18-3 — Ask Molly for help¶
Go to Molly's Room in the Purple House. Molly has returned from her library job and listens to Lily's explanation. The conversation identifies the food problem and directs the group across the hall to Cass.
18-4 — Recruit Cass¶
Enter Cass's Room. Her knowledge of the grocery store turns the rescue into a proposed after-hours expedition. Finish the planning conversation; Lily tells the group to meet at Fort Awesome the following night.
18-5 — Hold the treehouse briefing¶
On a later day, go to the Treehouse for the nighttime meeting. The group discusses equipment, masks, and the plan for reaching the cheese. This scene advances the clock to Late Night, setting up the store approach immediately afterward.
Chapter 19 — The grocery-store heist¶
19-0 — Assemble outside the store¶
Go to the Grocery Store exterior at Late Night. Finish the approach with Cass, Molly, and Lily, then solve the keypad after Molly identifies the worn keys. The route separates arriving outside from entering the store, so remain on this objective until the Guide points inside.
Keypad solution
Enter 7 → 5 → 1 → 8 → 3. The accepted sequence is 75183. A wrong press buzzes and returns you to the start of the sequence. The Molly walkthrough explains this part of her role in the rescue.
19-1 — Enter and recover the cheese¶
Enter the Grocery Store at Night or Late Night. Work through the laser-grid sequence and recover the cheese. Molly uses a compact mirror to help navigate the beams. The scene covers the return home and Lily taking the food downstairs.
19-2 — Wake up and remember Rupert¶
On the next day, be in Your Room before Night. A short reminder points Ethan toward the basement. Do not mistake this brief interlude for the end of the rescue: Rupert still needs to be checked on.
Chapter 20 — Rupert's return¶
20-0 — Check the basement¶
Visit the Basement before Night. Lily reports that the cheese is still there, but Tara then arrives with Rupert. Their conversation resolves the rescue and shows that the expedition did not unfold quite as expected.
20-1 — Hear Lily out¶
Go to Lily's Room when she asks to speak privately. Her thanks for helping Rupert become an important relationship moment. Finish the conversation before waiting for the next day's hallway encounter.
Chapter 21 — The girls compare notes¶
21-0 — Catch Lily on her way out¶
On a later day, enter the upstairs hallway. Lily is heading to Molly's to talk with her friends and asks Ethan to keep an eye on Rupert.
21-1 — Let the conversation play¶
Continue playing normally after the hallway exchange. The game automatically shows Lily, Cass, and Molly talking in Molly's room. Ethan does not need to walk there for this stage. Their advice sets up Lily's next visit.
Chapter 22 — Another storm¶
22-0 — Spend the evening at your PC¶
Return to Your Room from Evening onward; the Guide suggests using the PC that night. Lily arrives to ask Ethan to stay in her room during the storm. Finish this invitation before moving to her door.
22-2 — Follow Lily to her room¶
Enter Lily's Room, preferably that same night. The overnight relationship scene and its morning ending are one continuous stage. Older builds can be more restrictive about the nighttime trigger, so return at Night if the room visit does not advance your save.
There is no additional 22-1 step to find. The active story deliberately uses 22-2 for this continuation.
Chapter 23 — News at the pool¶
23-0 — Continue from your room¶
On a later day, enter Your Room. The story cuts to Lily meeting Cass and Molly at the pool and sharing news about the relationship. You are watching their conversation; you do not need to trigger it by visiting the pool yourself.
Chapter 24 — An evening invitation¶
24-0 — Visit Lily after the previous chapter¶
On a later day, enter Lily's Room from Evening onward. Lily's video call with her friends leads into a longer private encounter with Ethan. The call, visit, and aftermath are all included in this stage; no separate computer-item purchase is required.
Chapter 25 — A secret between friends¶
25-0 — Allow the next-day cutaway¶
On a later day, continue playing before Night. Lily visits Cass and Molly to discuss what happened, while the friends try to hide how much they already know. This stage is automatic and does not require Ethan to find them in a particular room.
Chapter 26
The active route jumps directly from 25-0 to 27-0. There is no intervening Chapter 26 objective to complete.
Chapter 27 — The next invitation¶
27-0 — Lily comes to your door¶
Be in Your Room from Evening onward. Lily asks Ethan to come over for another private visit. The move to her room and the following morning are handled inside the scene.
27-1 — A proposal takes shape¶
On a later day, continue playing before Night. Lily reports back to Cass and Molly. The conversation develops into a proposal involving the wider group, with Lily setting a condition before they approach Ethan.
Chapter 28 — A visit from the group¶
28-0 — Return to your room¶
Enter Your Room once this is the active stage. Cass and Molly arrive with Lily's involvement to discuss the favor connected to Rupert's rescue. Although the dialogue frames it as an evening plan, this step is triggered by the room visit rather than a new-day wait.
Finish the discussion before going to Cass's room. The next two chapters are separate individual visits, not one combined scene.
Chapter 29 — Cass's visit¶
29-0 — Go to Cass's room¶
Enter Cass's Room in the Purple House. Complete the private encounter and her final conversation. This is Cass's major individual milestone within Lily's shared route. When it ends, the next destination is Molly's room across the hall.
See the Cass walkthrough for her part of the shared story and later options.
Chapter 30 — Molly's visit¶
30-0 — Go across the hall¶
Enter Molly's Room after Cass's chapter. Molly is nervous, and the scene gives her and Ethan their first individual relationship encounter. Complete the conversation afterward and return home when prompted.
This is a story milestone, but Molly's repeatable relationship menu waits until Lily's progress reaches Chapter 32. Continue through the following conversation instead of repeatedly checking her menu at Chapter 31.
Chapter 31 — Explain the heist¶
31-0 — Tell Lily what happened¶
On a later day, continue playing before Night. Ethan explains that Cass exaggerated the heist's security and the cheese's rarity. Lily's response resolves the favor's story thread and moves the shared route forward to Chapter 32.
Chapter 32 — Molly's new plan¶
32-0 — A conversation after swimming¶
Continue playing before Night. The story automatically cuts to Cass and Molly after a swim. Molly's old Halloween costume becomes the starting point for a new plan. Ethan does not need to find a costume or buy medical supplies for this chapter.
Chapter 33 — The hallway invitation¶
33-0 — Meet Cass and Lily¶
Enter the upstairs hallway before Night. Cass and Lily explain that Molly wants help with a supposed medical activity. Finish their invitation, then head to the treehouse rather than the hospital.
Chapter 34 — The treehouse appointment¶
34-0 — Join Molly at Fort Awesome¶
Visit the Treehouse from Morning through Night. Molly is waiting in a doctor's costume for a staged checkup involving the friend group. The roleplay, group encounter, and return to bed are all part of this single stage. It is a story event, not a real medical quest or a new hospital unlock.
Chapter 35 — The basement message¶
Added in v16
The official v16 notes identify this later Lily chapter. Players on the free public v15.2 release will not have this addition.
35-0 — Read Lily's morning text¶
After the treehouse chapter, be in Your Room in the Morning on a later day. Lily sends an urgent message asking for help. Finish the text conversation; her next Guide hint points downstairs.
35-1 — Find her in the basement¶
Go to the Basement. The dryer-related situation develops into a private roleplay encounter. Complete the scene and its choices to finish the documented Chapter 35 sequence. A later chapter number in the Guide does not by itself mean another released quest is available.
If your route is not advancing¶
- Still looking for childhood memories? Click the living-room storage container for 1-1.
- Still looking for Rupert? Enter the basement for 18-1, then click his hole for 18-2.
- Waiting outside the grocery store? The approach requires Late Night, not merely Evening.
- Guide says to go about your day? Several chapters are automatic cutaways. Try the next morning and change rooms; do not keep searching for a new character interaction.
- Molly's relationship option is grey? Complete the Chapter 31 follow-up so Lily's progress reaches 32.
- A familiar room does nothing? Check both the clock period and whether a new day is required. Follow the active Guide rather than jumping ahead to a later chapter.
Coverage and sources¶
This guide covers 54 active story stages, plus the older 5-0 entry for compatibility. Numbering, room triggers, and automatic transitions were checked against the game's Lily story routing and English Guide text; story summaries were checked against the corresponding dialogue. The release notes establish Chapter 35's release status. Development files alone are not treated as proof that additional future chapters have shipped.
